Lucky 13 for Harrison
Eric Harrison remarkably secured his 13th singles tittle in last weeks 2021 Torrens Valley Table Tennis Association Tournaments. He also partnered with Eric Jaeger to win the men’s double and Audrey King to win the mixed doubles. Woodside’s Di Perkins also had a successful night winning the 4 titles, the Women’s singles and double, B grade singles and double. The most sort after event was the handicap singles where 32 of the 50 odd participants entered. The eventual winner was Dave Collins downing James-Aish Wake 51-47. Both Collins and Wake collected some nice scalps along the way. There were only a small number of Juniors involved this year but it didn’t stop the quality of the final with young guns Rex Jaeger downing Dylan Jones 12-10 in the fifth.
